What sets our practice apart from the rest is that our principal, Joseph Isabella, was once a tradesman himself who worked his way up from carpenter's apprentice to carpenter foreman, superintendent, project engineer, project manager, project executive, and eventually an attorney who serves the construction and real estate industries.

The level of Mr. Isabella's practical hands-on experience and knowledge of the construction industry complements his legal practice, which focuses on all aspects of construction law and is primarily devoted to the representation of general contractors, subcontractors, specialty trades, design/builders, developers, design professionals, architects/engineers, suppliers, and owners.

Mr. Isabella has comprehensive experience with construction-related litigation, mediation, arbitration, claims management/avoidance, and contract negotiation.

For over 30 years, Mr. Isabella has successfully provided a wide array of specialized services to construction and real estate industries via the representation of and counseling of its clients as to risk management and avoidance, project documentation, claims development and defense, lien and bond claim, schedule reviews and disputes, extra work and defective work claims, and competitive bid challenges.
